from zero to funny in five minutes

Suzanne Park is a Korean-American comedienne who was born and raised in Tennessee. She began her stand-up career in New York City in October 1999 when she was coerced (read: tricked) into performing 5 minutes on stage by another Korean stand-up comedian. After only 6 months of performing on stage, she entered the 2000 Boston Comedy Festival Stand-Up Competition, where she was a semi-finalist and a runner-up.

Suzanne has performed at The Laugh Factory, The Hollywood Improv, New York Comedy Club, Gotham Comedy Club, Boston Comedy Club, Zanies Comedy Club (Nashville), Giggles Comedy Club, and The Seattle Comedy Underground. She has also performed at the Asian Pacific American Stand Up Comedy Festival in both Los Angeles and Seattle.

In 2004 she was a finalist in the Oxygen Network's "Girls Behaving Badly" talent search, and was also selected to appear on BET's highest-rated show, COMING TO THE STAGE. She found this to be the funniest thing in her comedy career because, well, she is not black. In 2005 she was the winner of the Seattle Sierra Mist Comedy Competition, and in 2007 she was a semi-finalist in NBC's "Stand Up For Diversity" showcase in San Francisco.

Suzanne graduated from Columbia University and received an MBA Degree from UCLA in 2002. Isn't that comedy at its finest?! She cracks up just thinking about it. She resides in Seattle, is recently married, and likes to eat junior mints. She is also learning how to play the banjo.

Eyes: brown, Hair: black.
